Sponsors GPD Training |
| In June 2006, South Pacific Petroleum Corporation
sponsored retired FBI agent Rick Mathers from Seattle,
Washington to conduct training for the Guam Police Department.
Other agencies that participated in the training were
the Rota Police Dept., Airport Police, Dept. of Corrections,
Naval Criminal Investigative Services, and ATF. Over a
5 day period, more than 80 law enforcement officers participated
in the training. The training focused on basic death investigation,
forensics, and profiling. Additional instruction was given
by Police Chief Frank Ishizaki and Forensic Division Personnel.
